Set Up Pick-Up on Location

To use a 'Pick-Up on Location' shipping method, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. Add a 'Pick-Up on Location' shipping method.
  2. Link the method to an 'Afosto Shipping Label Provider' integration.
  3. Check your locations.
  4. Set up 'Pick-Up on Location' in your sales channel.

Add Pick-Up on Location Shipping Method

  1. In the Afosto management environment, go to Shipments > Shipping Methods.
  2. Click the button: Add.
  3. Select the carrier: Afosto.
  4. Select the Zone: The zone where your items can be picked up. Or add a new one.
  5. Change the name in the default display: for example, to 'Pick-Up on Location'.
  6. Set the rest of the default display (optional).
  7. Optionally, add translations.
  8. Finally, enable the 'Pick-Up Point' option in the options.
  1. After adding the method, you will be redirected to Shipments > Shipping Methods.
  2. Press the button in the 'Provider' column: Link.
  3. Select or link a new Afosto shipping label provider integration.

Check Locations

A location can only be a pickup location if the address and opening hours are filled in. Therefore, it is important to check the location details carefully.

  1. In the Afosto management environment, go to My Organization > My Locations.
  2. Select the location you want to use as a pickup location.
  3. Make sure the address and opening hours are fully filled in.

Set Up Pick-Up on Location

  1. In the Afosto management environment, go to Sales Channels.
  2. Select the sales channel for which you want to set up pick-up on location.
  3. In the sales channel, go to Logistics > Pick-Up on Location.
  4. Enable Pick-Up on Location.
  5. Add the pick-up locations where your customers can pick up orders at locations.
